PEAK Facility



Peak Performace Hockey is a 6000 sq ft hockey training facility located between rinks 3 & 4 on the second floor of the Co-operators Centre.  The Co-operators Centre, located at Evraz Place in Regina, Saskatchewan, contains six rink surfaces. One of the premier ice sports facilities in Canada, the Co-operators Centre hosts local, regional and national competitions twelve months a year. This includes minor hockey tournaments along with a busy schedule of ringette, figure skating and broomball. An estimated 1.2 million people go through its doors annually.



RapidShot - Peak's dual side RapidShot hockey training system is a sport specific training system with technology centered on repetition and feedback. The system automatically passes and collects pucks. Players catch passes and shoot at targets while RapidShot records reaction time, accuracy and speed.

RapidHands - Peak's RapidHands training system is a unique hockey training system that improves vision and stickhandling by providing a fun way to train, while encouraging sound fundamentals.

Skating Treadmill - Peak's custom designed skating treadmill is a great tool for learn-to-skate ages to develop balance and edge control, or for experienced players to refine technique. Our skating treadmill is surrounded by a synthetic deck which allows for stick handling, passing, shooting in stride and multi-tasking.

Shooting Lanes - Peak's five synthetic ice shooting lanes allow players to shoot from their skates which simulates on-ice shooting. Each lane is equipped with a regulation size hockey net, targets or shooter tooter.  The shooting lanes are designed to allow for individual lane shooting for proper technique and repetition, or for multiple players to practice passing and one-time shooting.

Stickhandling Zone - Peak's 800 sq ft stickhandling zone has everything players need to improve puck control, reaction speed, hand-eye coordination, weight transfer and balance.

Plyometrics - Peak's Plyometric Training Area is over 700 sq ft, fully furnished with all the equipment needed to focus on plyometrics.  Peak's equipment includes a Russian box, agility hurdles, ladders, medicine balls, jump boxes and balance boards.

Team Room - Peak's Team Room is an 800 sq ft boardroom equipped with state-of-the-art technology including satellite TV, wireless internet and a Smart Board with the latest video analysis technology.
